A community co-operative which will commission Next Generation Access communications network for the Upper Calder Valley. Community ownership will guarantee continued access for those most in need – the elderly, children in education, low-income households, those in remote areas, farms wishing to diversify, etc. This is a large and ambitious aim.
CVON has received a Community Foundation for Calderdale with which it employs project officers to prepare for a feasibility study.
